How to vote in the UK

To vote in the 2024 UK general election, you will need to show an accepted form of photo ID at the polling station. The accepted forms of photo ID include:

1. Passport (UK, European Economic Area (EEA), or Commonwealth)
2. Driving licence (including provisional licences, from the UK, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, or an EEA state)
3. Older Person’s Bus Pass
4. Disabled Person’s Bus Pass
5. Oyster 60+ Card
6. Freedom Pass
7. National identity card issued by an EEA state
8. Blue Badge parking permit
9. PASS card (Proof of Age Standards Scheme)
10. Biometric residence permit
